A Future Built on Curiosity in Plovdiv

What happens when science leaves the classroom and invites everyone to explore?

Plovdiv is preparing to welcome the fourth Plovdiv Science Festival from 22–25 October 2026, bringing together more than 60 scientists, researchers and experts from Bulgaria and abroad.

The programme features talks, workshops, experiments, interactive demonstrations and exhibitions covering everything from artificial intelligence and space exploration to human health, biodiversity and sustainable agriculture.

There will be opportunities for children, students, families and anyone who has ever wondered how the world works.

And that is what makes science so exciting: every discovery starts with a question.

Events like this show another side of Bulgaria — a country investing in knowledge, encouraging young minds and connecting science with society.
