Advertising and Listing Terms

Last updated: 30 October 2026

These terms apply to free community listings, featured listings, banner ads and premium partnerships on promotebulgaria.com. They add to our Terms of Service.

1. Who can advertise

Businesses, makers, events, organisations and individuals with something relevant to people who love Bulgaria. You must be 18 or over and have the right to promote what you advertise.

2. What you get

Packages, prices and what each includes are shown on our Advertise page at the time you book. Prices are in euros. Free listings run for 30 days and can be renewed. Paid placements run for the months you book, with any bundle discount shown at booking. Impression reports are estimates from our analytics tools.

3. Content rules

Listings and ads must be legal, honest, decent and truthful. We do not accept:

  • misleading claims, fake reviews or hidden prices
  • gambling, adult content, weapons, tobacco or vaping, illegal drugs, or unlicensed financial, crypto or “get rich quick” schemes
  • political or issue-based advertising
  • medical claims that are not backed by evidence
  • hate, discrimination, harassment or content that harms children
  • anything that infringes trademarks, copyright or privacy
  • malware, phishing or links to unsafe sites

You are responsible for your ad’s content and for complying with advertising and consumer laws where you sell, including any required disclosures. Every placement is labelled as an advert, listing or sponsored content, with the name of the advertiser.

4. Review, refusal and removal

We review every listing and ad before it goes live and may ask for changes, refuse it or remove it later if it breaks these rules or the law, or if we receive a valid complaint. When we restrict or remove your content, we tell you what we did, why, which rule it breaks, and how to appeal. Appeals go to hi@promotebulgaria.com and are reviewed by a person, usually within 7 days.

5. Reporting a listing or ad

Anyone can report a listing or ad they believe is illegal or breaks these rules by emailing hi@promotebulgaria.com with the subject “Report”, the link to the listing and the reason. We act quickly and let you know the outcome. This is our notice-and-action process under the EU Digital Services Act.

6. Payment, cancellation and refunds

Paid placements are paid in advance by card through Stripe. Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund and Returns Policy.

7. Licence

You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish your listing or ad, logo and images on promotebulgaria.com and, for featured packages, to share them in our Facebook group and newsletter, for as long as your booking runs.

8. No guarantee of results

We cannot guarantee clicks, sales or a set number of impressions. If your ad does not run as booked because of a problem on our side, we extend it or refund the affected days.

9. Ads from Google

Some ad spaces are filled by Google AdSense. We do not choose those individual ads. You can control personalised ads through our cookie settings and our Your Privacy Choices page.

10. Contact

Single point of contact for advertisers, users and authorities (in English or Bulgarian): hi@promotebulgaria.com.
