Thank you for supporting Promote Bulgaria. This policy explains how donations work.
What donations support
Promote Bulgaria is an independent non-profit project run by Boryana Borisova. Donations help pay for hosting, research, writing and running the site. They do not buy any goods, services, advertising or editorial influence.
Not a registered charity
Promote Bulgaria is not a registered charity, so donations are not tax-deductible and are not eligible for Gift Aid or similar schemes.
How donations are processed
Donations are made securely through a Stripe payment page. Stripe processes your card details; we receive your name, email and the amount. We use these only to record and thank you for your donation, and handle them as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Refunds
Donations are generally not refundable. If you donated by mistake, or the amount was wrong, email hi@promotebulgaria.com within 14 days and we will refund it in full.
Editorial independence
Donors have no say over what we publish. We do not accept donations that come with conditions on our content.
