✈️ Burgas Airport (BOJ)
About 10 km from the city centre — taxis and buses take roughly 20 minutes. Best option from abroad.
🚆 From Sofia
Around 390 km. Fly Sofia–Burgas in under an hour, take the train (about 6–7 h) or drive the Trakia motorway (about 4 h).
🛬 Via Varna
Varna Airport is about 130 km north — a good backup if Burgas flights sell out.

Where is it held?
Arena Burgas, in Burgas — Bulgaria’s main city on the southern Black Sea coast. Burgas was chosen over Sofia after a host city race that also included Plovdiv and Varna.
Why is Bulgaria hosting?
DARA won Eurovision 2026 in Vienna with “Bangaranga” — Bulgaria’s first ever victory. Its previous best was 2nd place with Kristian Kostov in 2017.

What’s the weather like in mid-May?
